וְלָקַ֣חַתְּ בְּ֠יָדֵךְ עֲשָׂרָ֨ה לֶ֧חֶם וְנִקֻּדִ֛ים וּבַקְבֻּ֥ק דְּבַ֖שׁ וּבָ֣את אֵלָ֑יו ה֚וּא יַגִּ֣יד לָ֔ךְ מַה־יִּֽהְיֶ֖ה לַנָּֽעַר׃
Tu emporteras dix pains, des gâteaux et un pot de miel; tu te présenteras à lui, et il t’apprendra ce qui doit advenir de l’enfant."

Biscuits. A type of parched grain, dried in an oven, and they make flour from it to make it into a dish called שתיתא, in the language of the Gemara.1It was a custom in those days to give a prophet a present before asking him a question. See I Shmuel 9:7,8.—Ralbag
